As part of its offering of industrial ovens, Pyradia holds the exclusive license to Swiss furnaces manufacturer CODERE´s designs in North America.

Pyradia recently completed the manufacturing of a modular heat treatment system for a large bearing manufacturer: a 250 – 70/60 system, patented installation with load transfer from furnace to quench tank by sliding.

The furnace of system 250 is moving (with the load) using a very simple sliding system. This movement is done under protective at­mosphere so at no time do parts/load get in contact with air; they are protected by the furnaces atmosphere during the whole cycle.

This system is suitable for:

• Heat treatment applications (austenitizing, carburizing, carbonitriding)
• Quenching
• Alkaline washing (by spraying – 3 tanks)
