Pyradia thermal oxidizers (or fume incinerators) are ideal for air pollution control requirements. Certain processes emit Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), which must be converted into CO2 and H2O before exhausting to the atmosphere. Our thermal oxidizers efficiently destroy hazardous process emissions by submitting them to the three T’s: Time, Temperature and Turbulence, disintegrating VOCs and transforming them into harmless by-products.
Given the proper amount of oxygen is available into the combustion chamber, the mixture will properly be oxidized if it is exposed to the right Temperature according to the substances in presence, for enough Time and making sure there is sufficient Turbulence for mixing. Without proper mixing of the flue gases, if temperature is too low, or if there is not enough time, molecules won’t be entirely split and combustion will not be completed.
