Our modular coater can be reconfigured in up to six different web coating processes, with quick change over between multiple coating modes, such as direct gravure, reverse gravure, Mayer rod, comma, saturation, and slot die, among others. With our modular technology, you can easily switch from one method to another in a matter of minutes.
Cartridge coaters are also available, where the entire coater module can be removed from the line and replaced by another type of coater. Best suited for wide web production lines, allowing for quick change of the coating head, for switching from one coating method to another, or for offline preparation. These modules are equipped with quick connectors for all services, such electrical an single multiport pneumatic adapters.
All coating methods can be adapted to a modular or cartridge coater, for meeting your current coating requirements and planning for easy addition of alternative coating methods in the future. They can be designed for water based, solvent based and hot melt coatings.
These machines will produce very precise coating layers, and have a wide range of thickness adjustment, for a broad range of fluid viscosity and characteristics.
